Most BS Yet- 3

As soon as the doors were closed, Lux let out a yell.

“I’m going to lose it!” He collapsed against the chaise and threw his hands up.

Ela sighed and nodded slowly. “I don’t blame you.”

She glided to the seat next to Lux, patting his thrown-out hand. Suddenly Lux’s voice screeched out.

“Mirna! Mirna, Get in here!”

Instantly the doors opened and two ladies waltz in. The lead was the taller, coming near the height of Lux himself. Her dark hair naturally curled itself in long huge tendrils. Her glassy brown eyes sparkled as she smiled at the prince.

Behind her was a slightly smaller girl with the same nightly hair. Though naturally straight, it came down to the same length. They were matching outfits styled with black plaited skirts, button shirt down shirts and black blazers. Clean with sharp edges, their steps were matched as they walked in.

“Moja visina” They bowed in unison. (***)

“Mirna! Please say you have something! I can’t actually go!” Lux yelled.

Ela sighed with one of the girls, the one with the straight hair, stood by her side. “Don’t listen to him. He’s just nervous.”

Lux sat up with a glare directed at her.  “I am not nervous. School hasn’t changed in the last hundred years.”

“Then it’s the people there that you’re afraid of.” Mirna answered in a flat tone.

Everyone looked at her, Ela worried and Lux with his mouth wide open. After a moment, Mirna’s sister spoke up.

“Don’t worry, we’ll be right by your side. No one will punch you in the face.” She reassured.

“How about a sword through my heart?” Lux stared the girl down, his face no longer as intense.

The room was quiet. Mirna sat beside him and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. “I won’t let that happen. I promised your father that nothing would happen to you.”

He pulled away from her and stared at a painting off to the side. “He doesn’t care. Now on earth, he doesn’t care. I’m nothing more than a pawn for him to move about.”

“He does care.” Ela rebutted quickly.

The other two girls turned to her. Lux didn’t. He kept staring at the painting. Ela sat by his legs and waited for him to notice her. He turned immediately.

“Your choice is still yours, and that’s what makes him anxious. But in the end-”

“My choice affects everyone we’ve ever come to know.” He finished coldly. The room stayed silent. He looked to Mirna. “Everyone that followed me through the fall, the retribution and war, it’s now all on me to fix that.”

“But it’s your choice.” Mirna answered softly.

Lux shook his head. “What choice?”
